As a Computer Systems Engineer with a diverse background spanning software development, academia, IT management, and data analytics, I offer a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. My experience includes roles in various sectors, including textiles, education, fintech, and B2B wholesale distribution within the Latin American home appliance sector.
My professional journey includes foundational experience in the textile industry, where I spent three years contributing to the software development and implementation team. Utilizing the Scrum methodology, I analyzed and improved the company's management software while concurrently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology Management at UNITEC.
Subsequently, I transitioned into academia as a full-time professor at UNITEC, imparting knowledge in programming, electronic commerce, and database fundamentals. During this time, I actively mentored student projects, facilitating technological solutions for local businesses, and also served in a parallel role as a Business Intelligence Consultant focused on new university program development.
In 2022, I took on the role of IT Manager at a Honduran fintech startup, where I managed digital payment processes supporting banks in Honduras, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. Following this, in 2024, I was hired as an Analytics Architect for a leading Latin American home appliance distributor. In this strategic position, I established the company's analytics framework from the ground up, leading key initiatives including product Sell-Out analysis, Logistics KPI tracking, and custom financial reporting.
